Copyright & Takedown Policy
Version 2026-08-01 · Last updated August 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers content stored on ClickCues: screenshots, file attachments, feedback text, project names and shared task pages. It does not cover content on a customer's own website that ClickCues merely photographed; for that, contact the site operator.
2. Submitting a notice
Send a notice to support@clickcues.com with the subject line "Copyright notice". A valid notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific ClickCues URL or shared task link where the material appears, precise enough for us to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices will be returned rather than actioned.
3. What we do
We aim to acknowledge a complete notice within two business days. Where a notice appears valid we will remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the account that uploaded it, including a copy of the notice.
4. Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address including: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your contact details, your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts identified in the Terms of Service, and your signature.
We may restore the material if the complaining party does not notify us of a legal action within a reasonable period after we forward the counter-notice.
5. Repeat infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices will be terminated. Termination follows the process in the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Misuse of this process
Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages and costs. We keep a record of all notices received.
